Foremarke 3: the site
During term-time Foremarke is a boarding school—in the summer we take it over for a week!

All the bedrooms are well-equipped, and most of them are for four-eight people.
Foremarke is just south of the Peak District, near Derby. That means it’s really well-placed for loads of cracking off-site activities.

Directions to Foremarke Hall
Foremarke Hall is located to the south of Derby, and easily reached from both the M6 and M1 using the A50.
From the M1 Motorway
Leave the M1 at Junction 24 signposted A453 Nottingham. At the roundabout at the end of the slip road take the A50 westbound towards Stoke. Proceed for 6½ miles and take the exit signed A514 Swadlincote. At the roundabout at the end of the slip road take the first exit onto the A514 to Swadlincote. Proceed along the road for just under 1 mile through Swarkestone. After the Crewe & Harpur pub, cross the bridge over the river and immediately turn right, signed Ingleby and Foremark. Proceed along this road for just over 2 miles through Ingleby and shortly after leaving the village turn right signed Foremark, Milton and Repton. The entrance to Foremarke Hall can be found ½ mile on your left hand side.
From Derby, Lichfield and the west
From the roundabout at the Junction of the A38 and A50, take the B5008 signposted Willington and Repton. Proceed along this road for ¾ mile to the double roundabout in the centre of Willington. At the first roundabout take the 2nd exit and at the subsequent roundabout take the 1st exit signposted Repton B5008. Continue along this road for just over 1 mile into the centre of Repton and at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Brook End, signed to Melbourne. Continue along this road for 1 mile into the centre of Milton and turn left signposted Foremark and Ingleby. The main entrance to the school can be found on the right hand side after approximately 1 mile.
